This is a kind of amazing story:
So what's going on here? How does a guy be "admired by both sides...loved...and thought the world of" by his colleagues, yet get endorsed by only two of them, from the same state? The answer: “A lot of them, they don’t want to get on the wrong side of Trump.” That's from Sen. Lindsey Graham (S.C.), who says "Tim's a great guy" but did not endorse his SC colleague, nor his former GOP Governor Nikki Haley. No, “I’ve got a bunch of friends in this race — and I just jumped in the deep end of the pool with Trump because I think he deserves another shot,” Graham said.
This is the problem for most GOP candidtes: politicians who might be able to help them are too afraid of Trum[p and/or his supporters to risk it. This is why Trump will be the nominee.

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.
Pretty late in the game to go back now, I suppose.
Chris Christie going to play the "in the the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king" game. We'll see how that goes.
Assuming his personal habits don't do him in first, you've got Trump as the GOP nominee then? Hard to find fault with that. What do you think is the most likely alternative scenario for the GOP?
