One of the more dangerous signs of coming instability in Europe is the collapse of Angela Merkel's transition plan. Merkel's hand-picked successor, Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, stepped down as Christian Democratic Union party chair, a post in which she replaced Merkel in 2018, and withdrew as CDU candidate for Chancellor in 2021. This follows by days the uproar over the State of Thuringia CDU leader announcing a governing coalition with the far-right (aka, neo-Nazi) AfD party, breaking a long-standing commitment by all the mainstream parties to keep the AfD out of power at any level. Merkel not only has been the key to holding German politics to the broad center (she's not in a coalition with the Social Democrats), but in keeping Europe together. When the euro crisis threatened to undo decades of work bringing Europe together to avoid war, she took the lead in easing the pressure from the German Central Bank on debtor nations, allowing the crisis to recede as the global economy recovered from the Great Recession. Each of the three men vying to replace her as party leader and Chancellor next year would pull the CDU back to the right, largely in reaction to the AfD's pull. Socialism beginning to fail in Germany and Europe like it has failed everywhere else.
Nothing new here, wait until Trump cuts fairer deals with them on Drug pricing and trade, you ain't see nuthin' yet.
If AMerica doesn't subsidize Europe's economies and medical, not ot mention defend them through NATO and other financially excessive programs Europeans won't be bale to make it.
Leftist ideals, no children, no incentive to work hard, open borders, will ALL be rejected by normal thinking people in Europe and everywhere else as time marches on.
With BREXIT a done deal, it's the tip of the iceberg after TRUMP is reelected and yes he will be, I expect there will be more BREXIT'S and the EU will become a JOKE.
Only way EU can succeed is with a Leftist CLinton/Obama style administration or a BUSH type GLOBALIST running the US, the DONALD is neither and the EU is screwed.
I can't wait!

I’m looking forward to the EU and worldwide Socialism under the guise of Globalism failing and I believe it will happen quickly.
Without Obama subsidizing the EU’s drugs and allowing them to keep tariffs on our goods while we buy from them, the EU is screwed.
They are running out of other people’s money.
Germany is in recession already, whether they admit it or not and the Donald will tighten the screws even further.

Yea, the message is, it didn’t take the EU long to destroy the fabric of European life and make sure that countries like England, Italy and yes even Germany are slowly dying.
Under socialism, nobody can afford to have children or own their own home, hell the younger generation in Italy mostly have moved away because there were no jobs, went to places like Poland to work.
When the laws state that if business is good and you hire additional employees that when business is bad, you can’t get rid of them, then bingo, there is very little hiring and very little expansion.
In I believe three more generations there will be no more Italians in Italy..
Of course French think the game is over there too, with the no go zones , continued illegal immigration and a few Leftists in Brussels telling everyone how they must live Ndrun their countries.
