Happy holidays! I'm off to Boston for Christmas, while tonight we started celebrating Chanukah at our house. Some neighbors are preparing for Kwanza beginning on the 26th, while others have just recovered from the Hindu Dhanu Sankranti, celebrated this year on the 16th. nd I've no doubt some local Pagans are set for the Latin Feast of Sol Invictus, the Nordic Yule, or that non-religious favorite, Festivus. In other words, it's time for celebrating the passing of the Winter Solstice and the return of more hours of sunlight in the Northern Hemisphere, making sure we don't all die of starvation and frostbite. Whatever your favorite(s) I wish you all a great holiday, and then we all can celebrate the universal New Years Day with the Wisconsin Badgers at the Rose Bowl!
